On a Sony Vaio SVT1312b4E Notebook I have two unknown devices that are missing drivers and I haven’t a clue what they are. The laptop is working fine on build 14279. I don’t use the SD card reader so it might be that but not sure. I just like to see no exclamation marks in device manager. Hi I recently purchased a notebook that has been upgraded from Win 7 to 10. I have unknown device showing Properties - Details - Value ACPI HPQ0004 3&33FD14CA&0 Could you tell me what this is and how to make it work. I don’t recall removing anything that would cause this and the system can’t find any device drivers for it nor does updating the drivers from the dell web site resolve it. If you can’t see the desktop and instead see a blue, black, or blank screen, see Troubleshoot blue screen errors or Troubleshoot black or blank screen errors.
This issue is caused when Microsoft Windows does not properly detect the chipset or videodisplay.Corrupt or missing motherboard or chipset drivers
Download and install the latest chipset and video card drivers. If you or someone you know built your computer, it came with the motherboard CD. This CD contains the chipset drivers. Otherwise, you can find drivers for all the major chipsets on our motherboard drivers page.Corrupt or missing video card drivers
If installing the latest chipset or motherboard drivers doesn’t resolve your issue, make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your video card.
